Animora ("Animora", "we", "us"), published by BAB Studios, is a social community for pets and pet lovers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you provide

• Account details: email address, display name, and username. If you use a social sign-in provider, we may receive your name, email, and profile photo.
• Profile and content: bio, profile photo, pets, posts, photos, videos, live streams, listings, comments, and chat messages.
• Verification information: organisation or professional details and licence evidence when you apply for verification.
• Commerce: purchase and order records. For physical orders, Stripe supplies the delivery name, address, and phone number needed by the seller to fulfil the order. Animora does not receive or store your full card number.
• Reports and safety: content you report and users you block.

Information collected automatically

• Location: with permission, approximate or precise device location is sent only when you use nearby search. We do not continuously track or store your device location.
• Device and service data: a Firebase installation or notification token, app version, device type, IP address, and basic diagnostic data needed to operate and secure the service.

2. How we use information

• To create and manage accounts and profiles.
• To operate the feed, live streaming, chat, adoption, lost-and-found, commerce, verification, and nearby places.
• To process orders, tips, gifts, and creator payouts.
• To moderate content, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our terms.
• To send requested notifications and important service messages.

3. Service providers

We use providers that process information on our behalf to run Animora: Google Firebase for authentication, database, storage, and messaging; Cloudflare for API and media delivery; Stripe for checkout and creator payouts; LiveKit for real-time audio and video; and mapping/place providers for nearby search.

4. Sharing and public content

Your public profile, posts, live streams, listings, comments, and public chat are visible to other Animora users. Private chats are visible to their participants and may be accessed for safety, legal, or support purposes. We do not sell personal information. We disclose data to service providers, when required by law, or to protect users and Animora.

5. Payments

Stripe processes checkout and payout details. Animora records transaction details such as amount, buyer or sender, recipient or seller, item or gift, payment status, and delivery details needed for physical orders. Card details are handled by Stripe.

6. Data retention and deletion

We keep information while an account is active. You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. If you cannot access the app, or want to request deletion of specific data while keeping your account, use our account and data deletion page. Account deletion removes your profile and content you own, including posts, pets, and live streams. Some transaction and safety records may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or security purposes.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections, authenticated access, and least-privilege server access. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.

8. Children

Animora is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required in their country. Sending gifts and tips requires the user to be at least 18.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data and to object to certain processing. Use in-app controls or email [email protected].
